Content Archival (CAP) Policy

The Content Archival Policy (CAP) of ICAR–National Research Centre for Makhana (ICAR-NRCM) is intended to ensure that outdated, non-current, expired, or no longer relevant content is systematically identified and moved from the active sections of the website to the appropriate archive.

Content such as announcements, circulars, tenders, recruitment notices, news and press releases, events, notices, reports, and other time-sensitive information shall be reviewed periodically by the concerned sections or departments.

Once such content is no longer current or has completed its intended validity period, it shall be archived at the earliest possible opportunity and shall no longer remain displayed as active or current information on the ICAR-NRCM website.

Archived content shall be retained in an organized manner, wherever required, so that historical information can be accessed when necessary. Content that is no longer required to be retained shall be removed in accordance with applicable record-retention requirements and approval of the concerned authority.

The concerned content owners and designated officials shall be responsible for identifying content that requires archival, while the website management or authorized technical team shall carry out the archival or removal process after receiving the necessary instructions or approval.
